Transportation is provided to the main hotels in San José, Heredia, and Alajuela.

The tour through our plantation and facilities covers approximately 400 meters (0.24 miles), making it perfect for people of all ages and physical abilities.

You may take as many photographs as you wish during your visit. However, according to our copyright policies, video recording is not permitted at any time during the tour.

All our tours are offered in English, Spanish, or bilingually, depending on the profile of each group. For private tours, if visitors need translation into a third language and bring their own translator, we will be happy to arrange the tour in the required language with the respective translator.

If your tour includes transportation or a visit to another location such as Coffee and Waterfalls, Coffee and Adventure, or Coffee and Wildlife, we have allocated one hour for lunch. If you book only the Britt Coffee Tour with lunch, you can stay as long as you wish and savor the different coffees, chocolates, and delights we offer in our shop and Britt Café & Bakery.

Our lunch is prepared with local ingredients in a contemporary manner and includes: salad, soup of the day, main course with four different side dishes, dessert, natural fruit drink, and, of course, delicious Café Britt gourmet coffee.

Our dress code is simple: something very comfortable and casual. In Heredia, it can get a bit chilly during the rainy season, so a warm jacket and long pants might be sufficient. During this season, we also have ponchos and umbrellas available if it starts to rain heavily at any time during the tour.

Britt Coffee Tour is located on the road to Barva de Heredia, 400 meters north and 400 meters west of the Auto Mercado de Barva. Using Waze or Google Maps, you can find us as: Britt Coffee Tour.

We recommend making reservations before your visit to ensure your spot and confirm the required services. However, if for any reason you could not book in advance on our website, you can call 2277-1600 to check availability.

Reservations can be canceled up to 24 hours before the tour without any charge. For cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, 100% of the reservation will be charged, except in cases of sudden illness of the passengers.

Reservations can be canceled up to 96 hours before the event without any charge. For cancellations received between 72 and 48 hours in advance, 50% of the total reservation will be charged. Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance will be charged 100% of the reservation.
