ISO 22000 Costa Rica – Food Safety Management Systems
Since 2008, Café Britt has worked towards certification under ISO standards. We began with ISO 9001 for Quality Management and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management. In 2020, we unified these efforts with ISO 22000, which covers our entire value chain, including operations in Peru, focusing on continuous improvement, environmental care, and safety in all our processes.
Carbon Neutral ISO 14064: 2023
Our plantation complies with international environmental standards and holds ISO certification, a globally recognized system to ensure quality. In 2013, Café Britt assessed its carbon footprint under the verification scheme established by the Country Program of the Costa Rican Government.
